| A last minute guide cancellation left me wondering what to do with a perfect evening. The sky was cloudy, the humidity was high but the weatherman said storms. I knew the fish would be happy and the fishers would be few. Aaron Todd and I hooked up for the eve. 1st fish was 16" and before I could land it Aaron was into a 19+. After his photos I was into this 26" Brown that came out of the water like a hot steelie! My biggest German Brown on a fly in the net in 5 minutes. 5x tippet and #18 dry. The last fish was a nice 22". A perfect storm! |
