| So, Russell had a lesson last year, he fell in love with the sport and wanted the best equipment. Like most of us he is not wealthy so he got his reel last year (Lamson Velocity 1.5) Line (Wulff TT 4wt) This year he got his rod (Scott G2 904) Brian took him out for a refresher casting session on the boulavard and was very impressed with his cast. Russell went out to the river and saw a rising fish so he threw his fly at it. Wayne de Freitas happened to be at the river and "Saw this guy who appeared to be a beginner fighting this monster fish": This 19 ish was Russell's first fish on his own/on his new Scott G2. Russell.....what can I say? Eh to go! |
